Thanks to your support, we repaired five donated ambulances and delivered them to hospitals near the frontline, as well as one to our local partner Bogdan, who evacuates civilians from the most dangerous areas.

These ambulances help move the wounded faster, evacuate civilians from danger zones, and support doctors working in impossible conditions, now in the fifth year of the war.

All the hospitals near the frontline that we support have been bombed, and the same goes for ambulances. The need for ambulances is great.

We received five donated ambulances and raised funds to repair and deliver two of them. One ambulance is going to our local hero, Bogdan, in Kramatorsk, who is evacuating civilians from the most dangerous areas in Ukraine. The other has been delivered to a hospital in Zolochiv, in the east of the Kharkiv region.

Sofia lives in a village near the frontlines in Ukraine. When the power is on, she and her younger sister Dasha attend classes on a single phone.

After we shared their story, Kees, one of our volunteers, collected two iPads through his network. Thanks to this support, Sofia and Dasha can now follow their classes more comfortably.

Lena plays a vital role in organizing our transport shipments, ensuring that trucks from the Netherlands safely reach eastern Ukraine. To thank her, we invited her and her son Mark, who volunteered at our children’s summer camp in 2025, to visit the Netherlands.

We introduced them to our warehouse and our incredible Sunday volunteers. They left empowered, and we are deeply grateful for this partnership, which helps us continue supporting people near the frontline.

Olga is one of our local heroes, supporting 400 people each week who have fled frontline areas to Kharkiv. While she tirelessly cares for others, she deeply misses her own mother who is living in Norway.

Empowering local heroes means more than providing resources, it means standing beside them and recognizing their needs. Thanks to your support, Olga was able to hold her mother again after four years.

Mission 34 successfully completed

From February 8–20, our volunteers Ralph, Kees, and mission leader James completed a successful mission in Ukraine. Facing extreme cold of up to -25°C and widespread power outages, they delivered a truck of blankets, clothing, and food to families close to the frontline.

They also installed emergency power systems in Kharkiv and Makariv, enabling support for 400 displaced people each week and creating safe, warm spaces, while visiting key projects and partners on the ground.

Emergency Power & Winter Support for Families

Our local partners are helping hundreds of civilians every week. As power outages happen quite often, this work becomes almost impossible.

With your support, we installed emergency power systems in Kharkiv and Makariv. This enables our partners to support 400 displaced people each week and provided, warm spaces for families to gather during the winter.

Safe housing for three evacuated families

Thanks to the generous donation of Valentijn Bras & Pieter Rozenboom, we are able to provide safe housing in Ukraine for six months to three households: a family of eight, a single mother and her daughter, and an elderly couple from Shevchenko a village that is now occupied territory.

They join the eight families we are already providing safe housing to, including 22 children. This donation also enables us to offer all children additional support for their social and emotional development.

Vova Completed His Medical Examination

Our local hero Vova, who has evacuated civilians and now cares for displaced families we are providing with housing in a safer area of Ukraine, was able to undergo a necessary medical examination thanks to your support.

Thankfully, everything is fine, allowing him to continue his vital work supporting children and families as they rebuild their lives.

Fundraising successful: new armored vehicle for Bogdan

Thanks to your donations, we were able to purchase a former armored bank vehicle in Switzerland. Our volunteer David drove the vehicle to Poland, where car mechanic and volunteer Janek carried out several repairs and installed a drone net for extra protection. James then took the vehicle to Ukraine and handed it over to Bogdan so that he could continue evacuations in the most dangerous areas of the country.

Three trucks with aid to the frontline

In the first months of 2026, we sent three trucks with humanitarian aid to Kharkiv, in eastern Ukraine. From there, we distribute the goods among our 15 local heroes: people who work every day to help hundreds of people living close to the frontline with food, medical care, and emotional support.

Two trucks delivered bedding for hospitals and relief supplies for displaced people in Kharkiv. The third truck delivered winter clothing, sleeping bags, hygiene kits, medical equipment, and food.
